At the IGTP TODAY
The unit will address the prevention, detection, assessment and management of diseases and environmental risks that may affect children and adolescents. Through its Research Institute, the Hospital is also leading an international study in Spain to reduce children's exposure to endocrine disruptors and assess their impact on child health.
The research is part of the European project HYPIEND, coordinated by the Eurecat technology centre, and with the participation of IGTP-HUGTiP.
Researchers from IGTP took part in the third edition of "Ciència al carrer: Fira d'ESO amb mirada STEAM", a science outreach event that gathered around 600 students from 14 schools and secondary schools outside the Espai Betúlia in Badalona.
On 27 November, various Can Ruti Campus healthcare and research sites joined forces to organise talks and workshops engaging directly with the public.
