The IGTP celebrates its Scientific Retreat in a mixed format focused on research and innovation

The Second IGTP Retreat took place on 14 and 15 June in a mixed format broadcast from the Badalona International Business Centre (BCIN). Around 50 researchers attended the sessions within the current social distancing rules while close to 200 joined the event online and participated in the lively question sessions. The call to use the research power of academia to improve public health in the keynote speech was continued through the event and the presentations showcased a wide range of examples of success stories.

Germans Trias Professionals organize the first National Meeting on Neurofibromatosis Type 2

Last Friday the first update meeting at national level to take a global view of the healthcare situation and present the latest research data for Neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF2) took place at the IGTP. This pioneering event was organized by the members of the National Reference Centre in genetic neuro-cutaneous syndromes (Facomatosis), (CSUR) on the Can Ruti Campus and also included patients and families affected by the disease.

The 2016 SIOPEL Meeting better than ever!

This year Childhood Liver Oncology group (c-LOG), led by Carolina Armengol at the IGTP had the honour of organizing the 3-day meeting. Participants and members of the organization declared the event an overwhelming success and the best yet.
