JOB DESCRIPTION:

Pathophysiological bases of inflammatory bowel diseases. Omic, bioinformatic and experimental studies on Crohn's disease. Search for solutions for complications such as therapeutic failure or post-surgical recurrence. Identification of transcriptomic, epitranscriptomic or microbiological biomarkers. Development of new therapeutic strategies based on mesenchymal cells and adipose tissue.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE:

The applicant must have the following qualifications:

  • Biologist, biotechnologist or bioinformatician with a recent Ph.D.

  • Under 30 years of age (Programa INVESTIGO).

  • Experience in molecular analysis, cell cultures and in vitro genetic modification methods. The certificate of manipulator of experimental models "in vivo" and knowledge of microbiology are valued.

  • Skills in handling big data and statistical analysis (knowledge of R is valued)

  • Motivation to participate in basic-translational research studies and ability to work in a team.

Persons with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 per 100, as accredited by the Spanish Autonomous Regions or the State Administration, or who have been declared to have a total permanent disability in a different profession through a resolution of the National Institute of Social Security, while retaining functional capacity for the completion of the tasks of the post will be positively considered.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The specific tasks will be:

  • Control and management of the experimental studies included in the research lines of the group.

  • Innovate, implement, and provide methodological solutions.

  • Generate new hypotheses and transfer the results of the research to create clinically useful tools.

  • Dissemination of results and creation of scientific documents (projects, patents, publications)..

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Gross annual remuneration inherent in the position covered by this call, will be set according to the amount awarded for the grant awarded, distributed in 12 payments.
