2nd IGTP Retreat: Research and Networking across the Can Ruti Campus is an opportunity for researchers to meet and share ground-breaking research and highlight strategic projects, key services and core facilities on the campus. It is also an opportunity for selected young researchers to present their projects.

The IGTP retreat is a networking event. Due to covid-19 restrictions in 2021 it will be a mixed event, with speakers and a limited number of invited guests onsite and the wider community participating online through the BCIN streaming service.

The event will be organized around 4 strategic sessions based on 4 of the topics of focus for Horizon Europe and IRISCAT

  • Responding to epidemics in public health

This is a mixed event, invited speakers and specific guests will be at the Badalona International Conference Centre and other participants will be able to join on the streaming service.

Call for Abstracts

The scientific Committee will choose strategic projects from abstracts submitted. Abstracts must be for presentations within one of the 4 strategic areas and have a maximum of 300 words.

The contact person, corresponding author and presenting author (if different) will all be registered when the abstract is submitted through the abstract submission form. Other authors and/or members of the team must register individually using the registration form.2

The retreat is open to all scientists and support staff at the IGTP and its affiliated institutions on the Can Ruti Campus. Registration is obligatory and delegates must be contracted by one of the institutions.
